We are now accepting nominations for next year's PTO Board and other Volunteer positions 2022/23!
Parent involvement is critical for a successful school, so volunteer as a PTO MEMBER or VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR for 2022-2023. All positions are open and need to be filled. This year we added more positions to spread out tasks. There are jobs that take no more than a couple hours a month, some that are seasonal, and a few that require a routine commitment.
Dedicated teachers, staff, and PARENTS help make Vineyards Elementary a great school! Join us - it's rewarding, it's important, it's even fun!

Volunteer as much or as little as you can!
There is no minimum number of hours or any special skills needed. If you just want to help your child's teacher, offer your help. Parents can't work in their own child's classroom but often teachers need papers cut out, sorted, or stapled.
If you prefer volunteer work like tutoring or reading with a student who is struggling, the volunteer coordinator can get you in touch with a teacher who could use your help.
First, become a CCPS volunteer!
Schools gets credit for the number of volunteer hours each year. You get credit, too-an appreciation even, gifts from CCPS for large numbers of hours.

Level 1 allows you to help on campus.
Level 2 allows you to help on campus and chaperone field trips or work with students one on one on campus. Background checks and fingerprinting are needed and completed at the CCPS district building.
When the process is done you will go to a quick orientation at our School.
